This clean and sleek neoclassical stool is thoughtfully hand-carved with linked rings and beading, which beautifully adorns the seat base. The straight Gustavian legs are inspired by Greek architectural columns; they are tapered, fluted, and topped with a stylized capital of acanthus leaves. The Adonia Stool embodies the influence of ancient Greece and Rome on furniture makers in 18th-century Sweden, in their quest to replicate the quiet of ancient ruins. This versatile stool is perfect in a dressing room, or a place to rest a book or tea when topped with a tray.

The Eloquence® Porcelain White Finish is a Swedish inspired handcrafted finish. The first layer is an off white paint that is then carefully distressed by hand. Lastly a soft flecked glaze is gently applied so that the neutral white and natural charm of the wood can really shine through.
