The Eloquence® Empress Trumeau Mirror is a re-edition of a French period antique. We have cast this mirror from its original and artisan, hand-finished the frame with metallic leaf. This is a Neo-classical style mirror. Neo-classical furniture design was inspired by the classical art and culture of ancient Greece and Rome. Its aim was to convey a new era based on enlightenment principles and focused on themes of heroism, patriotism and virtue. The woman's face at the center crest is an idealized portrait of enlightenment and liberty.
